I’m Stan, based in Switzerland. I’m shifting from pure photography into the world of self-supported ultra-endurance racing 🚴♂️. That means long days on gravel and tarmac, early starts, late finishes, and the quiet problem-solving that happens when there’s no follow car; just a route, a plan, and what I can carry.
I’m documenting the whole arc: training blocks, route planning, gear choices, mistakes, and the head game when fatigue sets in. You’ll see ride reports with honest notes; what worked, what failed, and how it felt at 3 a.m. on a cold climb. The camera still comes everywhere 📸. Photography remains core to my work: landscapes, travel, and astrophotography. The rides bring me to more of the scenes I’ve always chased: mountain light, empty roads, and a night sky that refuses to sit still 🌌.
Expect a mix of photo stories and ride journals: stills, short clips, and maps paired with practical takeaways. I’ll share how I string routes together, how I pack for multi-day efforts, and how I balance pace with curiosity when a side road looks too good to ignore. Some days it is numbers: distance, elevation, time. Some days it is a single frame of stars over a nameless gap in the mountains. ✨. Both matter.
The goal is straightforward: build toward longer, harder, more self-reliant rides, and keep making images that hold the feeling of being out there. If that intersection of endurance and image-making interests you, this is the journey I’m on; one climb, one frame at a time.
